Confronting Isms in the Classroom
Racism, classism and sexism are but a few of the “isms” that prevent students from inclusion and access of high quality CTE. How can we avoid the conscious and unconscious “isms” in our programs so that a new shared understanding of equitable learning is made available to every student? The goal of the webinar is to have an interactive meeting of the minds, to share best practices in identifying and removing isms in classrooms. Please bring your own ideas and tools that have helped with confronting isms in the classroom.
